For destination weddings, it’s a good idea to send a save the date announcement to everyone on your guest list anywhere from four to six months before your wedding date. That will give them time to plan for things like vacation days and booking airplane flights. For a local wedding where guests reside in the area, there’s no need to send save the date announcements.
